Project Status

CURRENT STATUS OF EBBA SOLAR PROJECT

The Ebba Solar team is currently working with Lincoln County on road agreements and project design following the granting of the Special Use Permits for the project in November 2024.
Construction is expected to start Q3 2027 with completion and operations in Q3 2029.

The project will interconnect to the existing Lincoln Substation, adjacent to Tri-State’s gas plant.
The construction haul-route to deliver supplies to the site will be designed to prioritize safety and minimize impact to traffic on roads. Access to the site will be via State Highway 71.

Monday, October 14, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Community Open House at the Limon High School cafeteria, 874 F Ave, Limon, CO 80828

Tuesday, November 12, 7:00 p.m.: Land Use Board Hearing in the jury room at the Lincoln County Courthouse, 103 3rd Ave., Hugo, CO 80821

Wednesday, November 20, 9:30 a.m.: Board of Count Commissioners Hearing in the jury room in the Lincoln County Courthouse, 103 3rd Ave., Hugo, CO 80821

2025

Q3 2025: Large Generator Interconnection Agreements signed with Tri-State

2027

Q3 2027: First phase of construction

2029

Q3 2029: COD for full build-out
